I tried switching to Ubuntu last week, but it didn't like working with my hard ware (graphics card mainly), and I was stuck at a 800x600 screen resolution. Plus, the help was awful, nothing was really gained, even though overall I like the OS.

Now I just switched back to XP, as it servers my needs. Of course I have messed with it so it seems like Vista!

I use Debian as my server and Ubuntu as my Desktop OS + every week or two I'll install another distro on a partition to test it out.

OMFG!
I have loaned my Macbook Pro to one of my relatives and I am sure I will never see it again so I am looking for a new one.
When I originally got it, the machine only cost me about ~$300 AU because my aunt's company purchased it and I only had to pay the GST. Is anyone in a similar position where they can get me a super duper good deal on one? OR know of where I could get one?

Jacob.
