Best Blogging Platform

Hello everybody i wanted to know what do you think is the best blogging platform out there there are loads of platforms these days but i like only a few of them i particularly like microblogging and there are loads of services like Twitter , Pownce , Tumblr etc that let you do that but i think we should all keep it under one platform

I tried my hand in microblogging once (Micro Diary) but in the last i ended up using self hosted wordpress as my microblogging platform you can see the result Micro Diary which is made to look like Twitter but instead its running on Wordpress

OK so i am adding a poll where you can vote for the blogging platform you like most

I would definitely always try to host a blog myself rather than submitting myself to a service like Blogger for example. Reason being that in case the blog gets popular I can move it to a better host, move the posts over to another database etc. and even to another blogging software platform.

IMO Moveabletype and Wordpress are equally good although I'd say Wordpress' spamfilters are better but MoveableType has advantages of its own. I voted for Wordpress (self hosted) however since I find it to be the easiest and I use it myself.

I find Wordpress as the best platform because it has got loads of support , loads of nice themes and a pile of free mods or Plugin's and you know people like free stuff

Self hosted WordPress, no doubt about that. It is easily customizable and user-friendly. The themes, plugins, widgets, just love it all! Wordpress is the best!

I would have to say Wordpress, as it the only platform I have really used. Going through the internet though, it seems like the big named blogs, and those who are really good have Wordpress. But some of the smaller, less-known blogs, yet good, use Blogger or Typead, but like said earlier, their layouts and graphics are not even closed to being good as those you can find on Wordpress.

My vote go to self-hosted Wordpress. Only good system put there. All the rest are useless.

Wow all votes goes to wordpress.org
It's the best because it's safe, easy to modify and free.
Also typebad is a great service you forgot to add at the poll :P but you must pay for self hosted.
